Well; in my view; the hot stove thread should deal with actual transactions/predictions/rumors while the offseason thread is more all encompassing and could deal with those types of things as well as players having offseason surgeries, etc.

You can't do both things in the same thread? I'm sure there'll only be 2-3 things to talk about everyday regardless.

Most of the bigger news pieces will get their own threads outside of either of these threads as is.
