It doesn't really matter this early, but I have a little bit of a problem with Clemson at 2. They have a number of good/decent wins, but their best win (Auburn) was early in the season when Auburn wasn't playing as well (and they only won by 8 at home). Meanwhile OU has 3 top 13 wins....all of which were by double digits and two were on the road. Plus Clemson has a horrible loss to Syracuse (who is 4-6).....it seems the committee is giving them the Bama treatment. I'm also seeing some teams that appear to be over-ranked (LSU, Mississippi State, NC State, USC) IMO.

Oh well....it's early.

Miami and probably OU should be ahead of Clemson, but as usual it will all be sorted out. These rankings only exist for TV programming until the final one is released; they made that quite clear in 2014.
