Not excited about this group. Wouldn't mind taking a look at Tony Watson. But we're stuck with Cecil.. I said I thought the market would've been jump started by Davis's deal. But that hasn't seemed to happen. Which tells me there's a Lot more sniffing around on the trade market for arms than has been mentioned.

the obv best upgrade left is donaldson, BUT if the jays are truly not going to trade donaldson...then i dunno

i may throw up on my keyboard, but i'd rather have LoMo on a 2-3 year deal and hope last year wasn't a fluke, then to get stuck with a 7/200 deal that boras is going to try and hold out for with hosmer

Hosmer isn't sniffing $150 million, let alone $200 million. He'll get something similar to Santana.

Cardinals are not giving Hosmer 200 million. At best we'll give him 5/100. I'm for it. It upgrades the team. And he's still young.

he's getting a heck of a lot longer than 3 years being only 28...5-6 years min IMO...and i don't want him on a contract anywhere that long.

he signs a santana deal at 3/60? i'm game (though i'd rather have santana, but that ship has sailed)...but he's not going to sign for 3 years
