They also made the best offer for Stanton. That shows a willingness.

It also shows a failure. Not because of some egregious oversight but a failure nonetheless.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the context of the current conversation.MrCrowesGarden wrote:It also shows a failure. Not because of some egregious oversight but a failure nonetheless.

It doesn't? I think it does.
If this is going to be exhausting, I'm just going to check out now.

Please read the string. The discussion is specifically about the team's philosophy, and willingness to pay full price for players.

It's also about standing pat.
I'm sure you will reply to this to have the last word, but I am done.

Secret Weapon and I both SPECIFICALLY responded to Fat's post about the team's philosophy and willingness to pay full price............. a concept that you found the need to "LOL" at while misdirecting the conversation. Using terms like "exhausting" and "last word" is just an attempted distraction from the revelation that you couldn't manage follow the conversation.

Re: "not worthy of its own thread" offseason thread
The offseason began with a lot of comments from the front office about being aggressive, roster makeover, etc. Now, to be fair, the roster will look different than last season. However, my frustration comes from the fact that after years of being fairly passive the expectation that they would be aggressive was welcome but in reality, the message is really more of aggression in looking for sensible transactions instead of aiming for a division title.
