I think they already are (with Trout and Harper being the examples).

I think the Hosmers and Martinezes of the world are going to have to be more content with 4 year deals instead of 7 year deals, if they want the average annual salary they covet.

It is nuts. The BAMTech thing would pay for half of that JD contract offer (unless that report is wrong). Or you could have had 3 Addison Reeds.
