Now that the Houston Astros are starting the defense of their first ever World Series title, the question will be if the team suffers a hangover from their remarkable run.

But staff ace Dallas Keuchel said he does not expect a dip in the team's form in a declaration that will possibly also ruffle a few feathers over at Wrigley Field.

"We're not the Cubs," Dallas Keuchel told The Washington Post when asked about the Chicago Cubs returning almost the same team from their 2016 championship and winning 11 fewer games. "I firmly believe we have better players."

Moustakas just signed a contract that's actually less than his final arbitration year. And If he doesn't get the option picked up, that means he'll be thrown back into a class with the two best 3Bs in baseball.

I mean, you can't blame him much at all, but once LA had Cozart moved to 3B, and the Yankees picked up Drury as insurance...the market was pretty gone. Hard to predict two of the places where it was thought he might land doing those particular deals.

They didn't really have a hangover in the end, although they did seemingly have a hangover getting out of the gates.

I don't think he's really wrong though. The Astros probably have a better team already, and they also still have a decent farm system with Top 100 prospects left. Which the Cubs don't have.

He can't be traded immediately, but I don't know the exact date.

Presumably he could've been had for 1 year at $10 million.
