People say they just can't wait for something to happen usually end up waiting.

I discovered this morning that regardless of how busy life gets...I am still governed by my dog's poop schedule.

Random political stuff musing:
I wonder how long before we find out that the Tea Party was the first (in this series, at least) Russian U.S. influence campaign.

I think initially no. I think that first month or so was pretty grass roots, but then all the sudden those big PAC's just started flooding money in and I think it's definitely possible that after that it was highly influenced by Russia.

This Russia stuff is driving us bonkers. Domestics politics are not the machinations of foreign powers. Even when there are foreign influence campaigns, that’s not how they work. The Tea Party is deeply rooted in longstanding patterns of U.S. domestic politics.
How many people know that the Soviet Union supported the civil rights movement of the mid 20th century. Anyone want to say that made it a Russian op? That’s nuts.

I take back a few of the things I said about police. I got a seat belt ticket going across the bridge at Hannibal, Missouri instead of the ticket I deserved.

Books with imagery from the film adaptation on the cover. Gross. Michael B. Jordan, you're great and all, but I don't need you on the cover of 451 (I'm not in the market for the book anyway). Unless it's a novelization of the screenplay, like the copy of Rambo II I had in college, because that's hilarious, just don't do it. Even for something like Ready Player One, I think it's defeating and lame.
