Was there ever any compelling evidence to the common theory that MJ didn't 'decide to walk away' with unofficial gambling punishments?

No and I find the idea that the league would "suspend" him for two seasons at the height of his commercial value absurd. I'm trying to think of the crimes he would have to commit for them to do that, and nothing comes to mind as bad enough. I think he was burned out from the grind and death of his father.BottenFieldofDreams wrote:Was there ever any compelling evidence to the common theory that MJ didn't 'decide to walk away' with unofficial gambling punishments?

You mean like Skip Bayless and his ultimate bad faith arguments?

At this point in game 3, LeBron has played 108 of 118 mins in the series. Klay and Curry are having ass games and they are nipping at the Cavs’ heels still. If LeBron doesn’t shoot 50% on volume attempts the Cavs are guaranteed down 10.

Skip Bayless is an embarrassment to Vanderbilt and they should rescind his degree.MrCrowesGarden wrote:33anda3rd wrote:By the by, this is the first MJ/LeBron conversation I've had with anyone that's gone more than 14 seconds without someone demanding that their choice is the right choice, and an example of when I really like GRB. My favorite part about Skip Bayless's Twitter is that he doesn't appear to follow any one and there's no indication he's engaged in a conversation(e.g. replying to another user or a reply to him) on Twitter in years. Just tens of thousands of tweets of Skip screeching into the void.

McGee/Iguodala/Livingston/Bell went 16/21 for 36 points. It’s a never ending siege.

Unfortunately, the “void” is more than 2 million followers. He should have around 472 followers.Transmogrified Tiger wrote:My favorite part about Skip Bayless's Twitter is that he doesn't appear to follow any one and there's no indication he's engaged in a conversation(e.g. replying to another user or a reply to him) on Twitter in years.
