I have several pair of work socks that are the same color, but have different patterns. The patterns are the same color as the rest of the sock, so from (not much of) a distance, they look the same. Nonetheless, I can't bring myself to match socks that don't have same pattern even though no one would ever notice.

But this was someone else. i was tempted to stop and help them get water for their poor dog, but there was a more standard water fountain within eyesight.
