the 2nd season has been great so far. sure its somewhat campy, but 100% enjoyable.

I want to inject this in to my veins:
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a six-part Western anthology film, a series of tales about the American frontier told through the unique and incomparable voice of Joel and Ethan Coen. Each chapter tells a distinct story about the American West.

Apparently they've decided to change it from a six part show to feature length film. It'll still be on Netflix though.

The Good Place comes back for season three in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to see where they go this season.

I actually watched some of season 2 again last night to get myself ready. He shouldn't be but I think Jason is my absolute favorite character. He just says the dumbest stuff out of nowhere and it is hilarious.
Michael: "The Jaguars suck"
Jason: "No they don't. They just need a defense and an offense and some coaches..."
Michael to Chidi: "Knock Knock"
Chidi: "Who's there?"
Michael: "Nobody because you don't have any friends because nobody can stand you."
Jason (as the others try and stop him): "Nobody because you don't have any friends because nobody can stand you who?"

Ok, I'm ready to talk Sharp Objects now.
The use of this song was brilliant.
Around I guess episode 4, there's several times where she's listening with her roommate's old iPod and they start it with the swirly guitars and it gets to where Plant drones "In the Eeeeevening" and she stops it every time for I guess emotional reasons, but it's right before the loud guitars kick in. I'm not sure if it would work as well if you don't know the song, but I was getting frustrated by it. My wife doesn't know the song well, and I kept commenting on it. Then we watched the finale last night and found out what they were doing. I was laughing about it this morning.
I'm of two minds on it. I really liked in the first several episodes that the show wasn't so focused on who did it, but it was more about all the screwed up people and dysfunction in the town. Not dropping lots of misleading clues all the time. The last couple of episodes had to get to it though, so it became a bit more predictable. The ending is almost like a horror movie, which is a different vibe altogether. I wouldn't mind a show with characters like this that didn't have to center around murder victims, but I guess you need stakes.
There's one red herring I have a complaint about, because it really seems to be there for just that purpose and they never explain it.
