Re: The GRB Official 2018 College Football Thread
And now I am reading an article on STLToday.com that says the SEC actually works with the bowls in Tier 1 to pick the matchups that seem the best for both the games and the conference and things like proximity are factored it. So basically Mizzou needs to 11-2 if they want to be assured of playing a bowl game outside of Memphis for the foreseeable future. As long as they are in the pack that doesn't get a playoff, New Year's Day bowl or being the best of the rest after other teams in the conference land in those others, they are going to be playing in Memphis on New Year's Eve.
So take a road trip to Memphis, take in the game during the afternoon and then hit Beale Street or somewhere else to celebrate New Year's in a fun city and enjoy it. If I was a Mizzou fan, I'd be making my plans to head down there right now.

If he gets his spider egg brain cyst under control I wouldn't be surprised to see him want to coach again; but there is talk he might be taking a position in the AD department.ndistops wrote:I was thinking USC.Tim wrote:Until Notre Dame comes openJocephus wrote:urban is retiring after rose bowl

That's going to be Mizzou's best chance to get to the SECCG they might have. Yes going to UGA, but have Florida and South Carolina at home and the two (likely) weakest SEC West teams.
