I am only interested in competitive drama. The individual skills showcase of largely meaningless regular season is a snoozer. In NHL and NBA the competitive stuff starts when weather gets nice and have baseball and other [expletive] to enjoy. MLB without the Cards in postseason loses out to FB and Fall outdoors enjoyment.

NCAA BB # 1 and NFL playoffs # 2 are the most consistent for working with my cicadian sports entertainment rhythms.

This is all anecdotal obviously

Hoibert out in Chicago. A hand picked selection that was given too much time and players that don't fit his system. Set up to fail. Not a great NBA coach. Just a complete waste of four years. Bum ass organization.

Last night the Bulls were everything the home fans could ask for. The youngsters played well, the game was competitive, and they took the L for a step forward in pursuit of the Almighty Zion.

I'm mad about the Hoiberg firing solely because Boylen has been told he's got a shot at the job and he's going to want to compete every night rather than dyin for Zion.

Boylen shouldn’t get his hopes too high. Most NBA coaches who steward teams through losing and rebuilding are not around for the winning. They get fired and the team hires a new coach to instill a culture of winning. Kidd had to go in Milwaukee. Boston brought Stevens in when they were ready to win. Kerr was hired in Oakland. Brown in Philly is the rare example of a coach bridging the two eras. And I would assume his leash is only medium length.

You're right, but I still don't trust our leash holders.

He can want to compete every night, but the team has no talent. No way he wins games.

Lauri, WCJ, and Lavine aren't talented I guess.

Well, they're obviously talented, because they are NBA basketball players.

You're not winning many games with that roster though, regardless of who the coach is.
