I’ll eat, or at least try, almost anything. Sucking the head is not good. It just isn’t. And the boiled potatoes and overboiled corn are just bland.

Crawfish boil as a party concept is awesome- spill the food communally out on a picnic table plus the music and day drinking, [expletive] awesome; the grub itself always underwhelms. Hosted one or two myself.

One of my earliest childhood memories is being at crawfish boils at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. In my mind the piles of crawfish were about fifteen feet high and there were folding tables lined up from endzone to endzone. My dad worked in campus ministry back then and had some involvement with the athletic teams so Joey Belle and Ben McDonald were maybe there too.

You've been eating overcooked food. That's never good.

Gotta throw some hot sausage in there too.
