just gotta win the next one. they looked like [expletive] against the sharks in game 1 of that series too. also, the sharks weren't flopping like fruit cakes in their series drawing a bunch of penalties so....there's that. blais getting a penalty i kind of think is a good thing in that he knows where the line is even more so now. dude looks like he wants to kill people every trip out there

Blues had 2 bad calls against. Boston had 1 bad one against. Both sides had a lot of non calls and chippy play. Blues were very undisciplined. This was the game to steal, with Boston rusty and an early 2 goal lead. Now they are down with Boston firing on all cylinders.

And yeah, SJ was diving a bunch too. Must be the book against the Blues.

Not that the refs are what caused the Blues to lose this, but they also missed an automatic slashed broken stick penalty on Chara that would've given the Blues a 5 on 3. The Blues come back with a better effort and win game 2 and this game is forgotten.

Either way, its just a game. Gotta go to bed. I'm usually better at being stoic about stuff I can't control like this, but I've just wanted a Blues cup so damn bad for so damn long. The old kick to the nuts hasn't hurt this bad in awhile. Got my gd hopes up.

Wow, you seriously gave up? We also looked bad against Sharks in game 1, had some crappy games against Stars & Jets, too. This was just 1 game, c'mon! Chief will make some adjustments.
