I’m taking “get going” to mean roughly that the fire has grown enough to burn through the roof. At that point, it’s about containing the fire to the burning section of the structure and, if there are things of value below, salvaging and removing them. At Cathedrale Notre Dame, the stained glass was likely a priority. Don’t know if they were able to keep them wet/cool enough to keep from losing them.

I could give two [expletive] about this.

It is a symbol of one of the largest, most corrupt entities of organized religion. I wish it would have burned to the ground.

To me, it is a symbol of abuse.
