Dodgers had a crazy win yesterday and depleted their bullpen a bit. They should just punt today.

At least Wacha doesn't walk that many. Mostly because they just hit it off him.

He really just needs to watch where he pitches the fastball. His changeup is still good. If he can keep the ball up, then he can be a bit more successful. Hitters are hammering him down.

Gonsolin is bad. Need to crush him.

The last few days, with the usage of the rotation, pen, and OF alignment has me really shaking my head again at no deadline activity. Sure, if the starter market was too high, why not pivot to a reliever? If the entire pitching market wasn’t right, why not take a shot at a lefty OF’er for the bench? Now Wacha goes today and no news of a OF call-up, so expect more of Munoz and Edman out there regularly. Trying to contend for a division in a crazy hard stretch, mostly on the road, with an abundance of replacement level talent.

Trying to rely on ok players to be really good is just not gonna work. These series with the Astros and A’s exposed how far we have to go. Dodgers might not be much different. Against good teams, on the road, we just are not good enough or smart enough.

Agree.

No JMart or Munoz or Edman in the starting lineup. We simply don't need it.

OF should be Ozuna Thomas Fowler. Thomas batting 8th. Let's go.

Arozarena should have been called up. It's inexcusable to open a spot on the 40 and then not give him a shot. If the Cards can't see that this team needs a shot in the arm and aren't willing to take small risks for the chance at that shot, then they deserve their fate. The front office and managerial staff have earned any failure they experience this season, and any success rests solely on the players themselves.
