Cecil; what a disaster.

Cards break camp with him as a LH option. It's bold because he, of his reduced command and velocity, is worth more to the team in cost rather than effectiveness.

2. Hudson finishes top 5 in rookie of the year voting.
3. Ozuna is traded at or near the deadline.
4. Goldschmidt has fewer than 30 homers but has a .900+ OPS.
5. Harrison Bader wins a gold glove.
Probably 0 for 5, but in the ball park on a few.

*Goldschmidt wins NL MVP with over 40 HR and a near 1.000 OPS
*Waino actually posts a 100 ERA+
*Jordan Hicks takes over as closer when Miller is hurt
*Tyler O'Neil finishes top 3 in ROY voting
*Wacha and CMart combine for 120 innings
*Kershaw spends almost the entire season on the DL
*The Astros win the WS again
*Everyone gets indicted. All of us. You, me. Indictments.
*A new dance craze known as "The Ooze" sweeps the nation
*Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure III gets a surprising number of Academy Award nominations
*Wart has another daughter
*Gas prices will rise several cents a gallon, or maybe fall.
Wainwright wound up with a 102 ERA+, Hicks did take over as closer (Miller didn't get hurt, he just sucked) and Wacha and Cmart combined for 153 innings. Some of us are still unindicted though, and Bill and Ted III isn't out yet.
