I'm in Boston for our annual sales meetings this week at the Encore Casino and I imagine this is what it would be like if they just picked up a new Vegas casino and dropped it next to the water across from an industrial area. It really doesn't fit in with the area. Good lord it is nice and a bit over the top though. To get to the rooms that we have reserved all week for our meetings (about 450 people in total), you even have to walk past a $28M dollar statue of Popeye!

And Blue Man Group kicked off things this morning with a short (15 minute) performance. I've never seen them live before and even though this was short and simple, it was pretty cool. I will definitely try to see a real show live now.

For some reason someone put some metamucial fiber cookies in our office break room. A few hours later, someone else put an open box of shortbread cookies in the break room. Now I am very tempted to mix up the two boxes.

I don't remember locking my car at the airport parking lot Monday morning (it was a little before 4am). I hope everything is still there when I get back. I'm not worried about somebody stealing the car and nothing is visible inside of it but still, I hope everything is OK when I get back tonight a little after 7pm.

I had an epiphany with desserts a while back. I don't eat them out of hunger, so after 3 or 4 bites there are swiftly diminishing returns in terms of pleasure and I barely notice the last few bites. Not that i'm gorging on desserts all the time, but if I did get ice cream (my fave) I tended to pile it up. So now I pretty much just get a small amount and go back if I really want more, and I usually don't. Also helps a lot with treats people bring to the office.

I forgot to remove the body (well, bodies if I'm being honest) but thankfully either I locked the car myself or it automatically locks on it's own. I also didn't have anything other than a blanket, box of cereal and a couple of CDs in the trunk. Maybe some gum in the glove box. Nothing to steal.

I did forget to pay attention to what shuttle I got on when getting back though. I took the shuttle to the wrong location for The Parking Spot and had to take another shuttle back to the airport and get on the right one to finally find my car.

Basically, I'm an idiot.
