I watch/read/know an absurd amount of baseball/baseball players. I'm watching the Red Sox v Mets right now. I looked at the Red Sox pitching staff and think I've heard of 3 of them.

Nathan Eovaldi
Austin Brice
Matt Barnes
Josh Osich
Heath Hembree
Brandon Workman
Dylan Covey
Colten Brewer
Martin Perez
Matt Hall
Jeffrey Springs
Marcus Walden
Ryan Weber
Ryan Brasier

I've been so out of it because of the quarantine and late start to the baseball season that I completely forgot Derrick Goold existed. I just stumbled upon him on Twitter and thought, "Oh yeah. I remember that guy."

Because he never ceases to amaze me...

Mike Trout is hitting .322 .369 .695 1.064 on the season. Close to 75 career WAR.

He's 5 months older than Daniel Ponce de Leon.

The AL and NL leaders in home runs were once on the Cardinals roster at the same time.

According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the order for the 2021 MLB Draft is "highly likely" to be determined by teams' 2020 records.

Barring a sudden winning streak, the Pirates (15-39) would be in position for the No. 1 overall pick. The Rangers currently have the second-worst record at 19-35 followed by the Red Sox (20-34), Diamondbacks (20-34), and Nationals (21-32). Vanderbilt pitchers Kumar Rocker and Jack Leiter are already being discussed as potential early first-rounders while Texas-based shortstop Jordan Lawlar is the top prep player on draft boards. There was a clause written into MLB's March agreement which would have enabled the league to determine draft order by other means, but it appears that was a contingency plan in case the 2020 season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
