Re: cancer
I was talking to my dad last night, and for the first time in his life, he's under doctors' orders to GAIN weight. I suggested putting some frozen custard in his protein shakes, and he agreed that's a good idea.

Re: cancer
My dad's cancer has returned and spread within his abdomen, and his oncologists have determined that it's incurable. Because of COVID, it is not clear when or if I will be able to safely travel to St. Louis to see him or my mom. I feel more isolated than I ever have in my life.

I'm sorry to hear this. Do what is best for your family and aligns with your conscience. I know you haven't asked for advice here, nor am I well qualified to give it: but I say just go. Hop in your car. Go.heyzeus wrote: ↑November 13 20, 12:58 pmMy dad's cancer has returned and spread within his abdomen, and his oncologists have determined that it's incurable. Very sorry to hear this Zeus. I agree with Bottenfield. As long as he's not in a facility that is blocking visitors, I would go. Take precautions as best you can, but the hell with it.
