I know he doesn't post on here anymore but it's still worth noting my biggest thing to do is TFG's mom.
I think you're supposed to tag him, so that he knows. @TimeForGuinness, i hope whatever email address you used to register for GRB 150 years ago is still active.

I'm going to get my [expletive] money's worth at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Not having to make up excuses for bailing on social events has been incredibly freeing.

Oh my God, you're so right.

Got this note from my brother a few days ago (one of this bands is The Flat Five) and hope everything's a go by then.
Flat Five at Ravinia with Andrew Bird September 24th!

My mom is coming down from St. Louis to visit next week. Between my dad's long battle with cancer and then COVID on top of that, she hasn't seen her grandkids in two years. She wanted to wait on traveling or meeting up until she could be vaccinated, and now she is. All of the adults in my family are now.

The pandemic is clearly not over. But for me, this is a really big deal, and a big step towards recovering from the personal trauma of the past two years.

That is great news! Sounds like it will be a special time with her. Happy for you and your family!
