When Bader is ready to return they need to put Carp on waivers. Demoting anyone else makes no sense at this point.
Do they offer him a coaching or other front office position?

An ice floe in the Arctic Ocean with a nice La-Z-Boy recliner.

Like that Seinfeld episode where George does the opposite of everything he’d ordinarily do, and everything works out great?

I really do wish him well and thank him for his years of terrific baseball. And I can see him mentoring players in a coaching capacity at some point. But as a player, I want the team to cut bait.

I agree with that. But they're not hitting .077 with 17 strike outs. I think I'd be more confident with Waino pinch hitting over Carp right now.

Yeah but he's given us great years; even if his downturn is hard to stomach. Let him ride the bench; pinch hit for pitchers and make spot starts on Sunday afternoons and then wish him well.
