When I get an unexpected bright light in my eyes, I still say or think “Bright light! Bright light!” And think about Gizmo and the gremlins for a brief second.

In Southern California they name every single ditch or wash that a highway goes over and make sure to have a sign letting you know the name, at least when you get out of the larger areas. Every. Single. One.

Yesterday I learned that Texas has a wine country. It isn't too far out of Austin and there is a stretch where everything is either a winery or an orchard for miles.

Did you just do the drive on 290 between Fredericksburg and Austin? It's a nice drive. Couple of decent breweries too.

The sub-issue is, you can't come to Austin without getting a beer with me. That's a bannable offense.

Are married men allowed to decorate the inside of their home for various holidays?

My entire life experience resoundingly says No. Am I in the minority, or is this the norm?

My Dad definitely got into Christmas and Halloween. Even doing inside decorations. My Mom was obviously in charge for Christmas but my Dad always seemed to enjoy it.

Yeah, man. Why not? I mean, it's subject to "correction," but I dig decorative gourd season, mother [expletive].

My wife had an interesting morning. She had a new client that freaked out when the class started doing yoga because yoga is the devils work.

I don't know, but I do know I miss that feature. My TVs either don't have it, or I don't know how to use it.

I think the way cable and streaming operate now, maybe it's not technically feasible to do? (Though I don't know why that would be the case.)
