How nice would it be to have Zac Gallen and Sandy Alcantara on this staff? I never thought that Sierra was going to amount to much... but man, the Marlins made out like bandits in the Ozuna trade.

Terrance Gore has 3 rings. The blueprint is there: Sierra has a place in this league as a post-deadline contender pinch runner. Imagine if new CBA allows for 27+ rosters or something... track star bench cheerleaders can make some cheddar.

Given where the game is going, especially with regard to changes in how pitchers are utilized, it seems expanded rosters could be a consideration during negotiations.

It basically comes down to Albert vs. Joe DiMaggio. Joltin' Joe lost 3 seasons to WW II and retired at 36 with 79.2 WAR compared to Albert's 99.6 WAR with no breaks playing until he was 41.
