I thought Perron already had it but he must have had some other problem.
he had it last season right before the playoffs and missed the playoffs due to it, so it's the 2nd times he's had it, but first this season

weird the flyers have 4 people out and they postponed a game, but we have more and have to play

after their positive test, they don't have to be tested again for 90 days...so right before the playoffs

they need to stop the testing of asymptotic players. Tyler bertuzzi is literally the only one not vaccinated; player, coach, and FO...and even he just tested positive about a month ago. just test when someone complains about symptoms

I'm not going to be happy if the Blues have a bunch of players out due to COVID restrictions right as the playoffs kick off. This team is set up well to make a deep run, and it would be a shame to have that opportunity taken away.

me neither; Perron was our best player by a long shot last year and tested positive literally right before the playoffs and had to miss them. still pissed off about that.

if the cases come down from omicron, the league needs to stop testing like 10 days before the playoffs...hey, if the salary cap doesn't matter come playoffs (cough lightening last year, and Vegas this year with Eichel) then covid shouldn't either for a league at 100% vaccinated

Buchnevich now on the COVID list. there's just 5 players that haven't been on it this year

and yet NHL is suspending games when teams have 4 players out with covid, and we had 5 last night and 6 tonight and still play

The NHL plans to stop testing asymptomatic players and staff members following the All-Star break, sources told ESPN.

The NHL and NHLPA have reached an agreement on the matter, though the sides will meet again later this month to assess the climate and formalize.

The NHL will still test all players and staffers before cross-border travel between the United States and Canada. Players who show symptoms will also be required to test.

Thank goodness!!!
According to NHL data, 73% of the league has tested positive this season. There is only one player in the NHL who is unvaccinated, Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi.

Good that they finally recognize the crisis.
