Today Mrs. Zeus looked up her status/position in her company's directory and found she'd received a promotion and raise two months ago. During her performance review today, she learned that her supervisors also didn't know about her promotion and raise. Surprise!

I hate ripping checks out of a checkbook. 70% of the time, they rip away intact. But it seems like 1 in 3 times, they tear a little at the top, and then it looks like a dog took a small bite out of the top corner.

I think I'm going to resort to just using those big, cardboard checks. They never seem to tear at the top.

Maybe you can get her to write them for you.

Not to be a debbie downer, but it’s gonna a be awhile. My guess is 5-10 years.

I hope you aren't being optimistic.

"Taste the meat, not the heat" really was the best possible catch phrase for a propane accessories company. The writers for King of the Hill literally outdid every propane company in the United States with that one.

There seems to be trend of people ending conversations with "have a blessed day." Nothing tells me you are brainwashed Trump supporting dip [expletive] like telling me to have a blessed day. I'm going to start responding with Hail Satan.
