Headphones

Post by BottenFieldofDreams »

I always lose earbuds. I have to take one out for this or that and there is nowhere to put it, so it goes in my pocket, and then ends up singing a remote duet of ‘Somewhere Out There’ from American Tale with its mate. It’s really very sad. The reunion 6-8 weeks later when I find it under the bed or in a jacket I swear I checked 8 times is kind of sweet, I guess.

Also there is a right Soundcore somethingorother bud out in my yard somewhere. Fell out and just disappeared.

So I’ve started using Beats Flex, which are neckband earbuds like it’s 2011 but they stay together and right on your neck and it’s actually really convenient. Also when I click the magnetic buds together it pauses my music which is nice. But they don’t sound very good and everyone says I look stupid—even though these lay flat without bulky batteries.

Now it is my right and duty given my age and parent status to look stupid. But I’m looking for some other solution. Primarily for the sound.

What do you got? Wait, have I posted pretty much this exact thing before?

I have Sony noise canceling headphones. They have a cord, but can also operate using Bluetooth. I use them for music and phone calls. Nice leather earpads and headband covering for the top of my head. I got them as a gift a few years ago and really like them. No, they're not very trendy, but I don't wear them outside the house and wouldn't care if I did wear them out in public. They're top notch in my book.

I like the Tozo earbuds from amazon. They are cheap as hell but they work well for me and have the little charging case to keep them in. I particularly like them because when I fly they work for me to keep my ears from annoyingly popping which used to be a problem no matter what I did. The sound is good to me; I normally use them when I am watching movies or something on a mobile device.

I don't stream a lot of music and do not wear earbuds daily; but these are so cheap I would suggest trying them out and see if you like them.
