The future in which AI-generated, algorithmically programmed personalized content is delivered straight into your feed is here for me, personally.
An intellectually high brow comedy about a clever but vaguely depressed left-leaning Jewish American family? Put it straight up my butt in suppository form and chain me to the Matrix computer bank. This is for me.

For any/all of the Big Bang Theory fans, there's this in-depth feature on Jim Parsons:
The Tragic True Story Of Jim Parsons
For 12 years, Jim Parsons delighted the masses as the highly intelligent yet socially unaware Sheldon Cooper on "The Big Bang Theory." Soon after the show premiered on CBS in 2007, Parsons and his Spock-loving on-screen persona became cultural icons, with his image and quotes ("Bazinga!") plastered on T-shirts and other merchandise around the world. There was something about Parsons' delivery as Sheldon — self-centered but loveable — that made him a household name and catapulted him into stardom.
Such fame and success was a long time coming for Parsons, who was in his early 30s when "The Big Bang Theory" premiered and he could finally celebrate his breakout role. When it came to pursuing a career as an actor, he had a rough go of it from childhood, when his mother, Judy Parsons, was hesitant to support such a risky endeavor. In fact, Parsons' life as a whole wasn't the easiest. From losing his father at a young age in a tragic accident to feelings of fear around coming out as gay, Parsons has had his share of trials and tribulations.

Chief of War was a pretty good series. If you know anything about Hawaiian history, Temuera Morrison's likeness to Kahekili is uncanny.
Lots of subtitles as they only speak native Hawaiian for the first 1.5 episodes before letting some English in but I didn't find it to be distracting.

Harry Potter fans, in this article you can see a visual rundown of who will play the various roles in the new TV series:
John Lithgow Debuts Long Beard as Dumbledore on Harry Potter Set
Accio, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore!
The six-time Emmy winner looked nearly unrecognizable dressed as the Hogwarts headmaster while filming HBO's upcoming Hary Potter series in England Oct. 7. Similar to the late Richard Harris and Michael Gambon from the Harry Potter film franchise, Lithgow rocked a long, gray beard and half-moon glasses for his take on the beloved character. He capped off the wizard's look with lengthy dark robes.

Surprised they’d hire someone that old instead of using makeup. They’re going to milk that for years if it does well.

As someone who is generally a few years behind on most shows or movies, I am now watching The Bear, and just got to the Season 2 episode "Fishes," aka the Christmas Dinner episode. Now I want to talk about it. Holy [expletive], that was amazing.

Large companies fighting over money. Common folk lose out in the process:
Disney pulls ABC, ESPN channels from YouTube TV after contract dispute
Disney has suspended its content on YouTube TV — pulling channels like ESPN and ABC from the platform — after the companies failed to reach a new contractual agreement.
Google, the parent company of YouTube TV, and Disney needed to reach an updated contractual agreement to keep the latter's programming on YouTube TV by 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 30, according to a Google statement obtained by USA TODAY.
