I think you meant to say that Pete Carroll defeated the Seahawks, by calling for a pass play over the middle on 2nd and goal from the 1, with 26 seconds and a timeout remaining.

Possibly the worst play call in Super Bowl history.

They had peak Beast Mode Marshawn. That was the most crazy-making part of it, and I didn't even care about the outcome of the game.

It reminded me of the Rams-Patriots superbowl were Martz was just too much of a genius to hand the ball to Marshall Faulk despite the Patriots regularly not stacking the line.
