Tai Peete hit for the cycle, and Rainel Rodriguez has hit like 5 doubles or triples in the past two games. Our system is CRANKING.

Except for Liam Doyle. Don't look up how he's doing so far.

I remember having a debate on Doyle vs. Seth Hernandez and I went with Doyle because I felt like he had the floor of a good starter and the ceiling of #2. Instead, his lack of command has tanked his whole profile thus far. I know he's working on secondaries and that is one reason for his struggles, but his fastball command has been a venerable poo-poo platter.

Meanwhile, Seth Hernandez looks like the best pitching prospect in baseball already.

To whomever I was arguing with; you win this round.

I would say it's incredibly too early to be bowing out.

Had to look up how Rodriguez is doing so far…dude is unreal. He’s only 19 at A+ ball and prob needs to be moved up to AA soon…

357/471/667…yes that’s a 1.137 OPS for a 19 year old

Over half of his hits have been for extra bases, and he’s walked more than he’s struck out

Yeah, it was me who was intrigued by Hernandez.

I disagree. Seth Hernandez might be the best pitching prospect this very second. His stuff is breathtaking already.

Doyle can hit high percentile outcomes and not be Hernandez.

Maybe Hernandez breaks, but there's nothing you can really do about that.

Welp; Dick hurt
Cardinals right-hander Richard Fitts has undergone season-ending surgery to address the lat strain that recently landed him on the minor league injured list. President of baseball operations Chaim Bloom gave the news to Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
And checked on mathews and apparently can’t stop walking people still 10 walks in 11 innings to go with a 5.56 era
