What in the world?…
Major League Baseball Players Association executive director Tony Clark resigned Tuesday after an internal investigation revealed an inappropriate relationship with his sister-in-law, who the union hired in 2023, sources told ESPN.
other people just search for this stuff on p0rnhub instead of living it.

The sister-in-law element, especially one that's an employee, is pretty heinous morally.
Something about it feels kind of adorable or quaint given everything else that's going on in the world

Haha very true. Heinous might have been a strong word in the Epstein files era but it's fun to say.

The owners don’t need a 2027 season (and beyond); the players do
They need some return on their investment, though; I doubt Dodgers ownership will want a year without being able to sell Ohtani to the world.

Poor little billionaires, unhappy that they have to pay to compete. American sport is such a joke (just not a particularly funny one).

It’s a salary cap; Kind of what the premier league clubs just adopted also a few months ago…

The real question is:

Brother's wife? Or wife's sister?

This probably belongs in the Politics forum, but with the current administration do we feel like one or more of the owners who is buddies with the administration pushed for this DOJ investigation in advance of the CBA negotiations?
