Bryan Torres holds the Independent/Partner League record for the most stolen bases in a single season, swiping 71 bases in 2023 for the Milwaukee Milkmen, winning him Baseball America's Independent/Partner Leagues Player of the Year.

After signing with St. Louis in 2024, he steadily dominated the minor leagues. Between Double-A Springfield and Triple-A Memphis, he was known for his high on-base percentage (OBP) and was named the Cardinals' Minor League Player of the Month in August 2024. He won the batting title in the Texas League in 2024 and after moving to AAA Torres again led that league in on-base percentage and finished third in the batting race.
