He leads the NL with his now 14 HBP; one behind the ML lead held by White Sox Antonacci.

I don't think Ivan crowds the plate but he doesn't give ground either if they come inside.

As a team the Cardinals have been hit 45 times; most in NL. Seattle leads the ML with 46.

May gets a strikeout and it will take a hit to bring in Ewing who moved up to third when Crooks decided not to catch a pitch.
