I want to see Chip’s mystery angle where a ball that clearly didnt hit the batter actually hit the batter.

Postgame show had it. Definitely hit him. Good job by Chip with the explanation.

Chip never saw it. The broadcast didn’t show it. Great job indeed.

If I was hitting for the Cardinals this inning I would have dived and rolled around in agony on the first pitch even if it was a foot outside just to show up the umpire.

I would have enjoyed seeing that show. Maybe all 3 hitters do it, even more fun.

I would like to hear MLB's explanation. Maybe CB Buckner was doing replays.

Correct, the broadcast didn’t have it right away. But chip explained there was probably another angle out there, and there was.

The Cardinals put in a game that will be studied in sports classes to understand what someone means when they say "They gave that game away."

That was as self-inflicted and poor an effort you will see from a team all the way from players to manager to I imagine the rocket takers sucked today as well.

Wasn’t some of Oli’s problem the ump not formally calling it a HBP? Which would be the fallback if the review was indecisive. To me it’s unclear that it hits him in any of the video I’ve seen. Not sure if what the review teams have access to re: photos, but that would seem time consuming. Anyway, I get the complaint
