This surprises me, just having been there. The stadium feels really tied to the big league team in a way that Peoria wasn't and the Indians team here isn't with respect to the Pirates. They also had a dedicated scoreboard for the STL game in the outfield with all the WS flags across the top. And a ton of Cards jerseys and gear on the fans.

I keep forgetting to post it, but i took some pics at the Springfield team store of some of the stuff they were selling. It's like they had alllll the old Cardinals overstock merch. A Marcell Ozuna bobblehead for example, and a Shelby Miller. Other stuff I'm now forgetting. But a lot of other general STL merch too.

I assumed that was due to the relative proximity/same state. Wonder how the locals feel about it.

Chiefs have changed hands between the cubs and cards like 4 times since ive been alive. They keep their options open.
