Winning > Losing

It's fun when random players go on a heater like Saggese is.

Baez providing some juice. Apparently hitting lefties is his dream. Something I didn't expect is how poorly Baez' defense is rated, along with his baserunning. I thought with his speed he'd be plus in the corners and on the bases.

Has to take more walks and make more contact, but also needs to grow in those areas. His defensive pace would make him the worst OF'er in baseball (way too small a sample to make any conclusions).

10th inning win by Bruihl; loss by Stewart and Riley gets save 38.

Yamamoto went 7 and gave up 4 runs after looking unhittable in the first inning or so. Great win.

Hancel got lost on the trail to Dodger Stadium and never made an appearance in the bullpen game.

If we only played the Dodgers, we'd be like 128 and 34. I think that would win the division.

I hadn't said anything because it is SSS but Baez does not look all that comfortable in the outfield. Maybe he just needs more time out there. You can live with it if he mashes baseballs I guess.

All I can think about is how bad Walker looked in RF in his first two seasons. Bad routes, looking lost. Granted, he was still very new to playing OF at all, unlike (I believe) Baez.

But at the same time, Baez was in A ball just last year, and is now in the bigs. Patience is no doubt in order on the finer points of his game. Will he become a five way player? Not many do. He has that potential though, which is fun to dream on.

I’m not sure I want Libby giving Mautz advice..
I definitely wouldn't want Liberatore giving any rookie pitcher advice.

Wow Bernal killed that ball.
Maybe found our catcher for the future?

Great to get another win vs LA. Looking for a sweep.

And I see Gorman was up to his normal shtick.

went to sleep after 4 hitless innings. What a shocking result to wake up to.
