Missouri Tigers 5–1 overall and 2–1 in SEC are having an interesting season so far.

Texas lost to Oklahoma today so that makes the Georga Alabama game very interesting for rankings.

After the loss to MSST, I figured Mizzou would have their usual rough time against ranked teams and hoped for an 8-4 season and maybe a shot at a ranking in the 20s at the end of the season.

After beating Fla and Texas A&M handedly, I’m not sure. I know A&M has been up and down, and I know Fla got spanked by SC, but wins are wins.

MIZ has 4 more games vs currently ranked teams, with 3 of those opponents currently in top 10 spots. If they can manage 2-2 in those, (which is an TOUGH ask) and be competitive in their losses, I think they have an outside shot at a playoff spot. (Assuming they win the rest of their games which includes an Oklahoma team that just beat Texas)

A 9-3 SEC team with two top 10 wins and 2 top-10 losses (and another ranked loss) is a pretty good resume.

Time will tell. Starting this week with Ole Miss.

Georgia holding on against Texas and staying undefeated gives them #1 in the latest rankings; Texas drops all the way to 7.

Notre Dame goes up to 2 with Miami FL at 3 (don't think they will stick there)

THE Ohio State is now ranked 4 with Indiana 5; those two face off in Indiana this Saturday.

Mizzou now ranked 13.

Yeah tough game for Mizzou against Ole Miss.

Some other pretty good games today.

Buckeyes ended Indiana's win streak; just barely.

Texas with another loss.

#1 Georgia lost to Auburn

BYU knocked off #2 Notre Dame in the last quarter.

TN beat 'Bama at home again
