Did anyone hear about the deal perhaps falling though on DirectTV's end? Something about a baseball only channel's planned release which would at the very least cause DirecTV to lower the $700 mil? I just caught a little blurb on XM.

Either way, they need to decide, because there's a month until the games start and it's not fair to the people who were planning on switching.

The deals must not be decided yet. I have DirectTV and usually I get the first installment billed in February and I haven't been able to purchase yet.

I've been talking myself into mlb.tv anticipating no other choice. Since I need cable internet for work, I can't see switching to Dish just for EI.

The flexibility of watching games on my laptop from wherever I happen to be is pretty attractive. Plus I wouldn't monopolize the TV for six months.

But if I have a choice again, I may have to ponder it some more.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, I will definitely do the EI on cable if it's available. Wouldn't this be the pits if it drug out into April?

I have two monitors set up but I don't really know what you're asking.

Are you wondering if there is a limitation that prevents you from only doing one of the two at the same time?
I have a laptop, and have never had another monitor hooked up. I need to know if I can do homework on my laptop while watching games on the other one. It's probably a stupid question, but there it is. :)

Apparently all of the games that will be on in HD will be on in HD on Extra Innings, there will be like 10 channels designated for this occurrence. If that makes sense.
