What color should the road hats be?

I love the blue hats. They wore them at home too when I was a kid, so I grew up with them. I loved it when they brought them back in the '90s.

I wouldn't want to see them at home again - I love the red at home. But I vote to keep blue on the road.

(and I have them all - red, blue and bird hats)

The Cards started using the blue away caps in 1992, the 100th anniversary of the club. The same year, they got rid of the red, white, and blue striping on the waist and collar of the jersey, added buttons back to the jerseys, and belts back to the pants.

I think the red hats on the road make it look similar, at least from the back, to the Phillies uniforms, and that's just something I don't want to see!

It really doesn't matter to me. I voted for the Blue hats. As long as it says STL on the hat!

The road unis with the navy blue hats in my opinion are just about perfection.

I didn't think about it in those terms, but maybe my red vote was influenced, subconsciously, by my politics. So, are we going to turn this thread into a political debate?
