FSN package as EI alternative

Has anyone bought a Fox Sports package from their cable company before?

Comcast offers it here and I'm wondering how many games actually get broadcast on it:

Fox College Sports Atlantic, Central, and Pacific

• Fox College Sports Atlantic, Central and Pacific combine to broadcast the “best-of” sports coverage from around the country. Catch all the best sports action on the Digital Sports Tier’s three Regional networks that bring you programming from the following Fox Sports channels: Arizona, Bay Area, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Florida, Midwest, New England, New York, North, Northwest, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Rocky Mountain, South, Southwest, West, and West2.

So it sounds like they draw from all the Midwestern affiliates and combine it into FS Central. I'm wondering how many Cardinal games they carry, if any. It's only 4.95 though, so if they only carry 30 games, it seems like a steal. Also not sure if blackouts apply to paid packages like this one.

If anyone in Indy or elsewhere has looked into this, I'd appreciate some info.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure baseball games are blacked out on that package.

it's mostly for college sports IIRC. i think i have that.

It's college sports and sports shows like FSMW. I got the FSMW package on my comcast cable for $5 a month to watch the college hockey and FSMW. After a month, I canceled, but they never took off my cable. Now I get it for free for the last 2 years.

I used to have it on Directv. I saw a lot of preseason Cards games that I couldn't see otherwise.

They do black out most regular season games. You need the MLB package for that.

Yes, the games are all blacked out unless you get Extra Innings. Then some of the games will show up on those channels.

It also depends on where you live. I could get the Cardinals on either FSNMW or EI, but say the Twins were on I could only watch them on EI.
