He's pitching in the 9th in the Brewers/Cubs game. I thought he was out of baseball?

Good ole Luther. It looks like he hasn't played for a pro team since 2003, with the Padres. Must be a NRI for the Brewers.

Actually, I just looked it up. He didn't play at all in 2005, then caught on from an independent league to the Brewers AA team and moved back up to AAA last season.

I saw Hackman pitch last summer. He still throws 92 or 93. It's still pretty straight.
