ST Game Thread 3/7: Cards at Dodgers

Today's pitchers are Braden Looper, Ryan Franklin, Chris Narveson, Andy Cavazos and Kelvin Jimenez.

How has our pitching been this spring? Our starters have been excellent. Here's an interesting tidbit from the Game Notes:

Cardinals pitching has held opponents to a .103 batting average (9-for-87) in the first four innings combined so far in seven Grapefruit League games and have allowed four runs. The staff has carried no hitters into the 5th inning on three occasions (2/28 vs. FLA; 3/4 at FLA; 3/5 vs. HOU) and carried a one-hitter into the 9th on 3/4 at FLA. St. Louis leads all N.L. clubs with a 3.00 ERA.

No mlb.tv or XM Radio broadcasts today. For Gameday Audio it says "Webcast" - I assume that means there will be some kind of streaming audio broadcast. Anyone know for sure?

It's only an exhibition, but some spring in my head goes "Boing" when I see Aaron Miles batting leadoff.

I think it'd be cool if Bennett changed his first name to Gart.
