How bad will the Nats be?

No way.

There's no way they'll approach even 60 wins. Their "ace" pitcher is John Patterson, and like Johto said, they have Tim Redding as their number two. Plus, Jason Simontacchi is going to be in the rotation.

I understand that teams have pitching questions, but this goes beyond that. As good as Ryan Zimmerman is, and as decent as Lopez and Kearns are, they just won't be able to score enough. Right now, that rotation looks like the Indians from "Major League."

I mean it's highly possible that our triple A rotation (it's a guess, but I would say Narveson, Hawksworth, Lambert, Pomeranz, Keisler) would outperform the Nationals rotation at the major league level. And that's saying something. While teams have plenty of pitching questions, no one has as many pitching questions and problems as the Nationals.

I'd definitely say it's about 55, but if it was 65 I'd take the under. The NL isn't that good. Now if Washington was in the AL....I'd take the under at about 40 games.
