And, really, how much analysis do we really need? Most of us are pretty educated baseball fans. BT's job is first and foremost to entertain baseball fans with lively discussion, show highlights of the games, highlight reports and information obtained through their reporters (Gammons, etc.) and to hype their own baseball programming.
It's when fans start expecting Baseball Tonight or Sportscenter to tell them about their team and provide detailed analysis of their season that they are setting themselves up for disappointment.
