Bah. Put a ring in front of theirs.

I caught parts of the 1st 5 (watched more of the Cubs), I thought he looked fine, good command, mixed his pitches well, got ahead in the count.

I checked after I read your post and it is now ten zip and the title on stlcardinals.com was "Cardinals looking to rally to avoid sweep." That's crazy talk. Way to start the season at home boys.

In any case, the rest of the game's results only provide further evidence toward how impressive Looper was.

Just tell your Mets friend you may have won 3, but we won 4. He'll then say, 'We just swept your a**.' You then say, 'Oh, you mean these last 3 games, I thought you meant the games that really count like the NLCS.' I going to say something like that to my 2 Mets coworkers. Of course, you could just say, you can have these 3 games, I'll take the World Series Championship!

What a joke this first series has been. The worst thing is we have to wait 2 days to get back onto the field.  #-o

Seriously, what Mets fan is going to give a Cardinal fan any kind of trouble with a straight face? Laugh in their faces and say "Curveball to Beltran".

A scoreless ninth???! THANKS, IZZY!!
