Over/Under Date: Preston Wilson DFA

Call it a hunch, but this guy showed nothing all spring, hes been terrible in the field. Plus hes taking up a spot that JROD or dare I say Anikel could take? Hes got some pop, but strikes out to often. Hes got some speed, but ya cant steal first base.

The Date for the Over/Under is May 1st. You can choose over/under or not at all.

Over reaction in my opinion.

Using the criteria listed above, we'd have to DFA half the team.

I do think this, Ankiel will be playing with the parent club before September call ups.

I'm getting that feeling a bit, too. My hunch is June 1.

Remember when they got Roger Cedeño in 2004, and he had a solid year? And then they brought him back in '05 and he was miserable. He got DFA'd mid-year, too.

This situation has that feel to it for me.

Over. Just because it will take some time for Juan to get back and (hopefully) start hitting. Wilson is the one guy on our team that I just don't see getting any better. The analogy to Cedeno is spot on.
