Must depend on what part of Northern Illinois you are in. I'm 30 minutes east of DeKalb and it was not blocked out where I live.
The blackout rules need to be fixed. On EI last year, I got all of the Cardinal games fine unless they were playing Chicago. But that just meant I had to go to the local station to pick them up. If you live far enough away to not get on them on a local station but close enough to live within the blackout zone, then you are pretty much screwed.
I'm in DeKalb and had no problems with EI last year, hopefully won't this year. But, I am reading about the whole FSMW black-out issues in Central IL and am starting to worry for some reason...probably because of the black-out last night.

Getting blacked out of Cardinal games in DeKalb is ridiculous.
