Im not saying hes Steve Carlton. However, he pitched well enough for the Cards to get the win. Nice job. Simple as that.

Put me on the same team that was unimpressed. If that LaRoche ball travels ten more feet in the first inning (like it would have if we were playing in June) then we'd be calling for his head. Keisler pitched up in the zone way too much and you can't imagine Duncussa liked that.

A win's and a win. If TLR has to juggle the rotation to get favorable matchups for Kiester, so be it. I'll take it.

Just as long as he doesn't pitch against the Cards. He's the perfect example of a guy that shuts the Cards down.

Lately, yeah. They have to be battling Seattle and Washington for being the worst against SP this year so far. 10 runs in 8 games.

I'm enthused about every starter on the staff and I'll give a breakdown of what I expect from them and the entire team in the next couple days. Gotta make a few adjustments now that Carp's out.
