I see Gibby as a strong safety type in football. Or a bump and run CB.

For the 3 on 3 thing.... Rolen, Wainright and C.Duncan.

I don't see the Duncan/basketball thing. Big yes, coordinated no. Clankers and balls dribbled off his foot and fouling out in the 1st quarter is what I see.

If its 3 other guys I need to back me in a street fight: Benny (ya know hes had a few brawls), The Deacon (he just has a look like, Im a bad MF) and Little Duncan..ya know hes scrappy like his pops.

If we are playing 7 on 7 flag football: Jimmy, Rolen, Wilson, ECK, Mulder, TJ, and Skip.

If I can throw in some "farm hands" I'd say Ankiel and Rasmus.

I know AP is the best baseball player since Ted WIlliams. However, I just dont see him as a great all around athlete. To be a big leaguer, you have to be a good athlete (then again, David Wells doesnt strike me as an athlete), but not all around. The debate was, who could play other stuff and succeed.

I disagree here. Baseball IMO is the 1 sport where you don't have to be a good athlete to be successful (John Kruk, and Cecil Fielder come to mind). Baseball is a skill game more than any other sport . Being a great all around athlete certainly improves your chances to be a good baseball player but is not a prerequisite. You can possess the greatest athletic ability in the world and still not be able to hit a major league average fastball. Michael Jordan proved that!
