I believe he's referring to Cox yanking Jones in the middle of a defensive inning due to lack of hustle chasing down a lazy fly ball, and letting it drop in front of him for a hit.

It was a while ago, but Jones still doesn't hustle out there all too much. Not surprising, given the approximately 75 pounds he's gained since 1996.
